Richard Pepler – Chief Executive Officer
Richard is a dynamic and resourceful CEO with a proven 39- year track record in commercial finance, asset-based lending, factoring and invoice discounting, 23 of those running a number of successful invoice finance businesses. He creates a high-performance culture where Optimum provides a service excellence to SMEs, supporting them in good times and bad, helping them grow, prosper and fulfil their aspirations.
Claire Lewis – Chief Operating Officer
Claire has 20 years’ experience in the factoring and invoice discounting industry with a deep understanding of how to help a wide variety of businesses get the best out of these types of cash flow solutions. She has a great ability to build close relationships with clients and to ensure that Optimum successfully provides highly personalised services that are truly tailored to the client’s unique individual needs.
Jim Brown – Chief Financial Officer
Jim has 25 years’ experience in the audit and accounting profession, mostly gained within the big four firms that lead the industry. More recently he has worked closely with SMEs and start-ups, often in the role of consultant or as Chief Financial Officer. His knowledge, skills and connections are not just a huge asset to the Optimum team but to all the company’s clients.
Angie Briggs – Sales Director
Angie started her career at RBS then switched to the invoice finance industry about 20 years ago as a credit controller. She swiftly progressed into senior positions in operations and risk management, ultimately moving into business development. For her success is all about building close relationships with like-minded clients who can genuinely benefit from the services offered by Optimum – relationships where total transparency and excellent service engender trust and confidence.
Chelsea Speakman – Commercial Manager
Chelsea has spent the last seven years building a successful career in relationship management; mostly at Santander UK, where she progressed quickly, managing a multi-million-pound portfolio of high net worth individuals. Her understanding of nurturing client loyalty and her ability to identify commercial opportunities is proven by her track record. Chelsea is enthusiastic, passionate and will provide a seamless and efficient service.
Lisa Doherty – Client Manager
Lisa started her career in RBS where her strong relationship building skills have taken her to various roles from retail banking to the factoring and invoice discounting industry. Having had over 10 years’ experience within the financial sector she has the understating that all clients’ needs are not the same. She strongly believes that the services offered by Optimum as well as her own drive for relationship building means that a strong working relationship will be key in delivering what the Client is looking for.
Ricky Shafier – Regional Director – London and South East
Ricky has spent most of his career in FinTech, most recently at MarketInvoice. He since setup a market intelligence data platform before joining the Optimum Finance team as Regional Director for London & South East. Ricky has a keen focus on client satisfaction and his customer centric approach fits in perfectly with Optimum’s values.
